"Roero" Project moves on - Fields 2017 (April - May)

One year has passed: winter, snow, autumn and again sunny days, but our project didn't stop. At the contrary we moved on. The iris (Germanica & Pallida) with the protection of the foil passed a wonderful winter, with no stress.
We had to repair just once in December the foils, because a very cold and violent rain.
After that we rested likewise our splendid iris.
Actually, they were waiting for us with fantastic and unexpected blossoming.

The first to blossom - as usual - were the middle sized "iris germanica" with their intense violet color. (bottom)

After few days, while the iris germanica were already starting to fade, the glorious "iris pallida" started to compete in beauty (bottom)

And in very few days they reached a 80 cm tall size (like 2 years old ones!), growing day by day in this very rich land.

Some patience more, and the iris pallida provided the most unique spectacle: bottom

Just one "intruder" was found; but we could not be angry at it, because of its celestial orange (and rare) color in the middle of that sea of pale azure

I wrote a lot of romantic sentences. But this is because I love these flowers and I would be stay there all the time I can.
By the way this doesn't mean that we didn't start the new works: at the contrary!
With good will we started to put down new squares of foils, because this year a new 10.000 iris will be planted over there, together with some roses.

At the moment, we are cleaning 100% all by hand in the respect of the nature and of the persons that will honour us by buying our products.
